Apple events (Oak Glen)
- Season opened Labor Day weekend 2026 and runs through Thanksgiving.
- Apple Butter Festival — Thanksgiving weekend across the mountain: copper-kettle apple butter, wagon rides, live music, treasure hunt. Usually free to enter; some activities ticketed.
- Stone Soup Apple Fair — Oct 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2026 (cider pressing, tastings, workshops).
- Apple Butter Social — Nov 14–15, plus Family Farm Days on Sept 11, Oct 16, and Nov 13.
The pumpkin patch
Locals point to Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Farm, 32335 Live Oak Canyon Road (Redlands address, same canyon system as Yucaipa / Oak Glen). 45th season, billed as SoCal’s largest patch.
- Open Sept 17–Nov 2, 2026 (a few midweek dark days).
- Pumpkins, corn maze, 70+ rides and games, petting zoo, train, pumpkin Ferris wheel.
- New night ticket: The Hollow Haunted Maze from Oct 2, 7 p.m., gate only.
Cherry Valley
123 Farm, 10600 Highland Springs Ave — not a classic patch, but the Pass-area night out:
- Lavender Nights through Oct 25, 2026 (500,000 lights, live music 6:30–8:30 p.m.).
- Christmas Nights Nov 5, 2026–Jan 3, 2027.
- Summer holdovers: Lavender Festival and the Beaumont/Cherry Valley Cherry Festival.
