10 Inland Empire Pumpkin Patches for 2026

From the biggest farm fair in Redlands to mountain pines, wine-country fields, and quiet U-pick patches — your guide to the best places to pick a pumpkin this fall.

Updated October 2026 · Confirm hours and tickets on the farm site and at iex.directory before you go.

A pumpkin patch in the Inland Empire is rarely just a field of orange. Most are half-day experiences: a gate, a wagon or hayride, a maze, animals, and kettle corn. 2026 opened on a staggered calendar starting mid-September and running through Halloween (and a little beyond at a few places). Here are ten strong options across San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

1. Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Farm — Redlands

The big one. Southern California’s largest pumpkin patch in its 45th season. Fall Harvest Festival runs September 17–November 2 (closed select midweek dates — check the calendar). U-pick, corn maze, 70+ rides and games, petting zoo with hundreds of animals, Ferris wheel, and food court. Hours roughly Mon–Thu 4–9 p.m., Fri 4–10 p.m., Sat 10 a.m.–10 p.m., Sun 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Admission varies ($10–$32 adults typical). The Hollow haunted maze is a separate night ticket.

2. Peltzer Pumpkin Farm — Temecula

Wine-country afternoon. Opened September 19. Perfect for families who want activities without a full amusement-park scale. Tractor garden, pig races, petting area, and pumpkin picking in the Temecula Valley. Lower gate fees (often a few dollars). Pair it with a winery or Old Town stop. Confirm exact 2026 hours and attraction list on site.

3. Frosty’s Forest Pumpkin Patch — Chino

Carnival + night maze. Opened September 25 through Halloween. Four-acre corn maze, sunflower labyrinth, slides, games, petting zoo, and food. Some Mondays free admission. Haunted Harvest is a separate night ticket (houses + night maze). 14861 Ramona Ave, Chino. Great when the group wants both daytime fun and after-dark scares on the same property.

4. Greenspot Farms — Mentone

Free-feeling gate, real farm. Pumpkin patch from October 1, open daily roughly 9 a.m.–6 p.m. 28-acre working farm near Redlands/Yucaipa. Hayrides, mazes, animals, crafts, and U-pick. More relaxed and affordable than the mega-patches. 10133 Ward Way, Mentone.

5. Wickerd Farm — Menifee

Quiet oak-tree patch. Smaller, more local feel. Pumpkin picking under the oaks with classic farm activities. Ideal when you want the experience without the big-festival crowds. Check exact 2026 dates and address on the operator page before driving.

6. The Pumpkin Factory — Corona

Carnival-style evening. Select days October 2–31. Free or low-cost gate (often free midweek, ~$5 weekends). Rides, inflatables, petting zoo, and photo ops more than a pure working field. Convenient for the west side of the IE. Confirm street address and daily hours.

7. Cal Poly Pomona PumpkinFest — Pomona

Campus festival weekends. October 10–31 on Saturdays and Sundays (typically 10 a.m.–7 p.m.). Large pumpkin patch grown on campus, marketplace, live music, petting zoo, sunflower maze, and hayrides. General admission often covers a wide set of activities. Tickets start around $22. Great family destination close to the western edge of the region.

8. SkyPark at Santa’s Village — Pumpkins in the Pines (Skyforest)

Mountain air. Weekends October 3–31. Pumpkin patch plus Legend of Sleepy Hollow puppet show, seasonal food, and park attractions. October 24 adds a Halloween mountain-bike parade and Monster Mash skate party. 28950 Highway 18, Skyforest (south of Lake Arrowhead). Pair with a lake afternoon if you’re already in the pines.

9. Los Rios Rancho / Riley’s Farm — Oak Glen

Apples + pumpkins in one climb. Classic Oak Glen experience. U-pick when the crop is ready, wagon rides, bakery, petting zoo, and living-history layers at Riley’s. Do not assume pumpkins are ready just because apples are posted — check the harvest board the morning you drive. Full orchard notes live in our Yucaipa & Oak Glen fall feature.

10. Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch

Convenient rides and inflatables. Multiple locations across the region (Eastvale, Rancho Cucamonga area and others). Mechanical rides, bounce houses, petting zoo, and pumpkin sales. Hours typically afternoon/evening weekdays and longer weekends. Easy add-on when you want quick fall fun without a long drive.

Field Notes

Weekends in October are the crush — Live Oak Canyon and Peltzer especially. Midweek after 4 p.m. is the local cheat code: cooler air, shorter lines, same pumpkins. Closed-toe shoes, socks for inflatables, and a wagon for toddlers. Budget the pumpkin and any rides separately from gate admission. Leave dogs at home unless the farm posts a clear yes. Hours, U-pick open days, and prices change with weather and crop — always confirm on the farm site and the I.E. Xperience calendar before you load the car.
