Meet Brian Cochran: 50 Years of Inland Empire Entertainment Behind I.E. Xperience

I’ve been part of the Inland Empire entertainment business since 1975.

I started as a party DJ and grew into producing events, managing rooms, handling sound and lighting, and promoting shows across Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Through Phat X Events I’ve worked with clubs, concert stages, private parties, corporate functions, and everything in between. Over five decades I’ve seen trends come and go, watched venues open and close, and learned what actually draws a local crowd.

That long local history is the reason I.E. Xperience exists.

The Inland Empire has a deep entertainment scene — live music, restaurants, festivals, nightlife, family events, casinos, and more — but the information is scattered. Promoters and venues need a simple place to list what’s coming up and sell tickets. People looking for something to do need a clear, local calendar instead of digging through multiple sites or hoping they hear about it.

I.E. Xperience is that place. It’s a free entertainment directory and event calendar built for Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Businesses can claim or add their listing. Promoters and venues can submit events and sell tickets through the site. Visitors can browse what’s happening near them, from restaurants and nightlife to concerts and seasonal events.

I’m not new to this market. I’ve been in the rooms, on the decks, and dealing with the logistics for fifty years. The Directory is an extension of that work — a practical tool so more local events get seen and more people can find something worth doing without leaving the Inland Empire.

If you produce events, run a venue or restaurant, or simply want to know what’s happening this weekend, start at www.iex.directory. Add your event, claim your business, or browse the calendar.

Questions or listings can go to xperience@iex.directory.
